Star Drop is a Borosilicate glass sculpture that plays with the notion of glass being at the same time liquid and solid, organic and geometrical.
Art is not about communication, it’s everything concepts can’t access.
I want to let this work speak for itself, with its own language and all meanings. I also want to invite the spectator to create the meanings for him with the interaction with the piece, mixed with all the symbols and experiences of his/hers life.
A certain amount of light that goes inside glass, never leave it. This amorphous material is very mysterious and fascinating. Star Drop is a Borosilicate glass sculpture that plays with the notion of glass being at the same time liquid and solid, organic and geometrical. It will bring some of earth’s elements and protons to the moon and then it will absorb the light from there.
